The program is intended for both learners and teachers of Russian and for people who wish to improve their knowledge of the language.
The application is based on the principle of “learning by association”: the user learns Russian words and phrases associated with topics (in this case, “nature”, “place”, “time”, “people”) by first listening to the topics in a sequence of speech and then practicing what he has learned.
In order for the user to be able to understand what he is learning, each word is accompanied by an illustration.
After the user has learned a set of words and phrases, he can read and write it in his notebook.
The application includes all topics (more than 200 words and phrases) that are used in everyday life and in academic settings.
The application has three modes:
The user can choose the topics and the order of topics.
The user can switch to “Phrases by Topics” mode, where the user can select a topic and get a set of phrases.
